“We are committed to promoting a common culture and values while at the same time nurturing our diversity.

Driven by this multi-cultural dimension and the diversity of its business lines, Altavia aims to attract the top profiles and offer them an optimal working environment that is conducive to the development of their skills and their professional growth.

Being a group with a positive impact means, first and foremost, taking care of our Human Capital by protecting the physical and mental health of our employees while at the same time anticipating all of the current and future major changes affecting the world of work.

Indeed, providing a safe and healthy working environment by taking concrete steps to improve quality of life at work is at the heart of our Human Capital policy, it is “The Art and Style of Altavia”. Making a positive impact also means putting our energy and enthusiasm into developing talent in all of the regions in which we operate.

Having improved, structured and harmonised its career management practices in 2020, the Group launched a programme aimed at the identification and emergence of talent in 2021.

This makes sense for an international group like Altavia, which has employees spanning all generations and where the workforce comprises equal numbers of women and men in some thirty or so countries.

Our slogan, “Retail for Humans”, reflects the spirit of our Human Capital policy; indeed, Altavia has defended and promoted open and living retail, creating encounters, mixtures and opportunities, since it was first created.

A respectful and conscious retail that embraces its responsibilities to the world around it. A retail run by retailers who commit on a daily basis to taking the client’s side. A truly human retail.

This is the commitment we make to our employees.”

Karine Mittelette, Human Capital Director.

Working at Altavia

A human-centered and
collaborative approach

Humanity plays a central role at Altavia, it really is a community. I immediately felt at home when I joined Altavia Nantes one year ago.

Listening is very important here: every idea is listened to, respected and considered. And that feeds through into the collaborative approach we take with clients.

Laura - Altavia Nantes, Nantes, France

An open and
innovative mindset

At Altavia Italia our door is always open to ideas, local communities, innovation and the future in general.

The group is growing, and with each new BU, there’s an opportunity to meet new colleagues and skills.

The values are visible at all times, in a friendly atmosphere, based around exciting collaborative topics.

Our recruitment policy

Diversity is the first factor in the richness of our Human Capital.

In all the countries where we operate, we are seeking authentic personalities whose values are compatible with our own.

In internal surveys carried out by the Human Capital department, employees often come up with terms like “human adventure”, “intense experience”, “caring” and “mutual aid”. These are human qualities that must therefore be spotted at the recruitment stage.

We are looking for talented people who are service-oriented, who love others and have caring values.

We are looking for passionate people who will care about their clients and speak to them with empathy.

We are looking for professionals who understand the importance of teamwork and individual responsibility.

“Altavia&You”

The value that sets our talents apart is that of Progress. A person’s progress can be achieved through a widening of their responsibilities and/or in a more cross-functional way through the development of their abilities, expertise, soft-skills, etc.

The range and diversity of Altavia’s activities make it possible to follow this type of path.

The ambition of the “Altavia&You” talent programme that was introduced in 2020 is to facilitate the growth of employees in a more structured, inclusive and agile manner by breaking down silos and encouraging internal mobility.

Our recruitment policy

“Altavia&You”
